fitting for spectra premium fuel tank
Does anyone have a part number and place to buy a fitting to go on the spectra premium efi tank for chevelle. The feed line is straight 5/8 18 theads with a male flare like on an an flare. They send you a fitting from that to a barbed fitting for a push lock hose but I would prefer to go straight to 6an line.

pure choice motorsports sells a stainless compression to AN for both lines.
McMaster-Carr you can buy a stainless compression to pipe threads and then buy an AN to pipe thread converter from Summits or Jegs (a little cheaper and a little longer in length) for both lines

That fitting on the Spectra tank is a 45* SAE flare. It will be very difficult for you to find a fitting that you will like to fit this.
When I got mine, I was worried about warranty and such and called them and they said, that cutting that fitting off and flaring your own on would not affect the warranty at all. So I cut it off and put on an inverted flare tube nut, then adapted this to -8 AN. I should have just done a 37* AN flare tube nut at the time, but I didn't have the flaring tool. Also, be aware that these lines are much harder than, say, a brake line from the parts store, so be very intentional with your flaring and double check them so they don't leak.

I decided to use this

I just had to grind it down slightly and it worked perfectly.
For the return, Earl's makes a 5/16" pipe compression to -6AN male. I cut the barb off and used this.
