Talking truck harness for build up?

ok, so I got a 2000 lq4 "6.0" with wiring harness and computer. My plan's are to put this motor in my 84 z28 camaro. I'm planing on running a turbo so it has to stay fuel injected. I'm wondering how to make this harness work on my car? Do i splice my existing 84 camaro harness and this truck harness together? Or do I run them separately some way?

OR

should i get an Ls1 harness and dash and put that in the car, making everything really easy and nice looking, I think, if it is a piece of cake like it might be..... or might not.....

I will be running a long shaft th350 with my combo by the way! thanks!

Most people just run either the truck Fuse box for the motor so all you have to do is give it power or you can take out the wires you do not need and run a smaller fuse box.

Not to hijack the hijack, but where did you get your harness & pcm?

Performance trucks is a good place to get harnesses. I've gotten one from there myself, it was damn near perfect (other than not being converted already lol) and I only paid 150 for it. You may be able to find them on here too. I found one myself a few weeks ago. I just happened to get it from 726.0Chevelle lol.

Great harness BTW. Almost done converting it. Should have it in this weekend.
