Default Which stock intake to use/avoid?

All I have is the long block. Putting it all together basically stock to begin with. Are there any differences among the diffferent years as far as intake manifolds go? Any revisions, changes, particular years to avoid?

I'd like to buy a Z06 intake but not really in the budget right now unless someone buys the gauges I have for sale/trade in the "Parts wanted" section.

Same goes for stock PCMs and wiring harnesses, btw. Any years or configurations that I should avoid?

Depends on the power range of the engine and hood clearance, if you have a low rpm torque motor use the truck intake, but they quit at about 5,500 rpm. If you have a high RPM setup go for the LS6 intake. The truck intake can be cleaned up quite a bit, they actually dont look too bad when they are shaved and smoothed.

Thanks ryanvv355. Hood clearance is not an issue in the '36. I guess my main concern was updates/changes as the LS1s developed. I saw a post somewhere on this board that refernced problems/issues with using a 1998 LS1 intake but can't locate it again.

I believe the 2001 and later LS1's use the LS6 intake.
