Increasing the f-body steering pump pressure
Is it as simple as changing the spring and/or adding/removing washers at the valve on the high side?
Reason I ask is im running f-body accessories on my 6.0 as well as hydroboost brakes and the steering is a bit weak when the idle is low.
I think i can get more pressure out of it easily, just not sure if I need to increase or decrease spring pressure.

I was told that it was a simple matter of changing the valve/spring/etc in the high side.. I have not seen it myself.. but my buddy has done his to reduce pressure (locking up) by using a lighter setup.. so, unless I get it wrong, a stiffer spring/valve setup would allow you to increase the pressure. I would suggest using a cooler in the line cause the increase pressure will raise the fluid temp.
I get a few lockup sometime and was thinking of putting a lighter spring or something to reduce the pressure.. I am interested in what your doing..

Yes, you can chahge the goverened pressure the pump operares at. BUT, at idle the pump speed is too low and the pressure is usually below the cutout pressure anyway. Setups that use hydroboost brakes almost always employ a higher volume pump to run both without problems.
