LS1 in a 40 chevy truck??? anyone know if this has been done? I put a 5.3 in my 50 chevy truck but the engine bay looks a little smaller in this 40 model. I have seen earlier version small blocks and they fit. I dont have a earlier small block to compare my 5.3 with. are they any wider or longer than the gen 1 or 2 smallblocks?
