Default Chevy II guys - what brake booster fits with the LS1

I have a 67 Chevy II that I am putting a turbo LS1 into and I am preparing to buy a power brake booster. I can get a 9" booster setup pretty cheap, but am concerned about the clearance with the LS1. I have an aftermarket front clip. Should I get the 7" or 8" booster instead?

I have the smaller 7", plenty of clearnace. I'm pretty sure Jack (babyduece) is running the stock 9" unit.

Yep, but I have a stock frontend, and it was easy. I would personally not use the 9" as it is a single diaphram unit. I would opt for the 7" or 8" dual diaphram unit.

Yep, the 7" dual diaphram is nice, makes the brakes very light to the touch. Almost too light.

Well, I just bought a 7" dual booster unit. Thanks for all the help, guys. The motor is sitting on its stand, so I will mock it up when the booster comes in.

None! It is weight, through it out! Use the money for a gym member ship! Do like 100 leg presses a day for a week! That should help. Just kidding, hope you find what you need. Lets see a pic. thanks JC
