DIY harness mods..
For those that are/have done the harness cleanup, I have some ??'s.
05 Truck. [Hummer] Transplanted into a 55 Chevy sedan.
1. Did you remove the wires from the PCM plugs, or just cut them off?
A. If removed, what did you use for weather plugs, in the empty slots?
B. What tool did you use to get the wire terminals to release?
2. There's a red box on the pos batt cable.[Batt monitor?. Has a 16 slot plug]. Did you eliminate this box, and all it's wires?
3. Will the fuel pump relay control work w/ an aftermkt hotwire relay, to allow for a "prime cycle"?
4. The 4L65 has a neutral sw on it. How do I go about using it? If I don't retain the purple wire [to starter] circuit, can it still be used?
Overall, if I'm doing an accurate count, I'll not have a lot of wires to remove from the 2 PCM connectors.
NE1 have a pinout list, that is marked up?
My A/C, start, all gauges, lighting, will be independently controlled.
I've got the harness peeled of all the wraps, and am ready to try to fit it to the car.
I'd like to put the PCM in the car, but lengthening all the wires would be a monumental task!!
Any/all suggestions welcomed!

What pcm do you have? If its an E38 the two connectors are made by Molex.
One is 73 pins(black) and other is 80 (gray) To release terminals you need a release tool. Its about half diameter of apaper clip. A small drill bit might work.
You need to pry up gently on the mating part ofvthe connector to the release position. ~5mm. You then insert release tool in small hole and remove terminal.
