a 1994 Z28 radiator is the thickest of any year Fbodyies with the electric fans. I drove my 525hp setup to work 17 miles in 52 degree weather without even turning the fans on (180 degrees). I am not sure of the difference in a V6 radiator though.

On 4thgens the v6 rad and v8 rad all have the same core size for each year. So if the car is a 00, the core is the same size for the v6 and v8. Same with all the other years. The part numbers are different and I can only presume because of specific connections being different but the core is the same.
