Post Whats up with the fuel return

I know that the earlier model LS engines had a fuel return setup, and the newer models do not, I am putting an LS7 our of an 08 vette into my 79 camaro, and I am racking my brain wondering if i need a return line or could i substitute a fuel pressure regulator into the equasion to take care of this problem. I am fairly new into the wide world of LS my company usually deals with either top fuel or restoration so if anyone has any help on this matter it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can do either really. Truck motor still use a return so a return system isnt discontinued. With running a return system it allows cooler fuel to get to your engine. But most people just use the corvette FPR and run a single feed line. If you did want to run a return you could get you fuel rails modified, but if your not going crazy will higher horse power i would waste your money. read the stickys on the top of the page. lots of good infor in their.
