5.3 truck pan in mustang coupe??? Can you get by using a stock truck pan on a mustang notch conversion or will it hang to low? I tried the search button several times and for some reason it was just giving me every thread in this section.

YUP.... several guys have done it. We are in the process of doing one also.

BTW. Dont do any wheel stands

well... the say the best to use is the late 95-99 K member for the 4.6 if your going to bolt it in.
But we are welding stock truck mounts to FOX frame. budget baby!
Plus it will sit the motor up a little higher.
