'94 f body build/5.3 swap
#1
'94 f body build/5.3 swap
so we went and looked at a '94 camaro and decided that it was a steal for $600
pros
-good interior (besides what is stated below)
-good tires
-all it needs is a fuel pump to be drivable (ordered a granatelli 255lph pump)
-v6 (now i can motor swap it and still insure it as a v6 )
cons
-hole under the driver side door lock where someone broke into it
-dent in passenger quarter quarter
-bad fuel pump
-cracked windshield
-cracked dash pad
-driver side window doesn't roll down (needs new motor)
-lid on console is broke
-glove box latch is broke
well these so called "paint/bodywork cons" aren't really cons because my brother paints cars so he's gonna hook me up
we are a mechanically inclined family and this shouldn't be much of a test
overall plans for the car
paint the car the original hunter green or whatever
tint windows 5% on the back and 20% sides
black headlight/taillight covers
17x9 in the front and 17x10.5 for the rear torq thrust m wheels with black centers like these
255lph pump
5.3 swap (cam, tsp pushrods, ls6 springs, ls1 intake, arp rod bolts)
TH350 with a shift kit and a 3500 stall
mini spool and 3.73 gears for now
1 3/4" pacesetter LT's (no AIR or EGR)
pypes X pipe with built in cutouts
dynomax bullets dumped at axle
and now finally..... THE POWERHOUSE
hole cut to change fuel pump (had to go sideways so we could unhook the lines)
mild 5.3 up on the stand
things i need to buy for swap
fuel rails
ls1 k member
th350 shift kit and stall
dash pad
glove box latch
center console lid
mini spool (cant have a 1 wheel wonder haha)
things i need to buy to be fully complete
things stated above
LT's
X pipe
dynomax bullets
rims
headlight/taillight covers
3.73 gears
have windows tinted
