Shorter Water Pump? hey guys i have a 71 datsun 510 wagon im going to put a LS1 in. but it looks like the extra couple of inches the water pump sticks out throws my game plan all out of wack... does anyone make a shorter water pump assembly (electric or belt)?

LS2 Corvette will work with Camaro accessories if you pull the pully out about 3/8". That will gain you an inch. If you went all corvette accessories you'd keep that 3/8" too.
