Default pan swapping question

i have a 5.3 in my 69 impala. engine is in good but truck pan sit too low to ground. can a cts v pan and pick up be put in its place with out frame mods. any part numbers will help, also the year, make and model of the car to get the pan from.

Look in the stickys at the top and you'll find everything thhere is on oil pans

search LH8 pan...this will be shallower than the truck pan. 2008 Hummer Alpha w/ 5.3 is what it came on.

Yea the lh8 will be your best bet if you dont want to move the motor or cut anything. I have heard they still hang slightly below the x-member though.

They use a different windage tray, pick up tube and oil dipstick and tube also. I have a new pickup tube and also the dipstick and tube if interested.
