Im looking for a 3 wire coolant sensor for an LSX. I thought that the 98s had the 3 wire sensor but i've gone to a few different parts stores and all they can pull up is a 2 wire sensor. Has anybody came across this before? thanks

I was told that a sensor for around a 98 S10 with a 4.3 will work, if you're trying to run the gauge and PCM. I haven't check this out, but an going to need one to finish up a swap

Im not using it for the gauge but the harness I bought had this pigtail alrready on it. I guess if I had to i could just get a new pigtail for a 2 wire sensor and wire it in, but i'll check into the sensor your talking about.

36403 should be the advance autoparts PN for a factory air brand sensor.

Autozone did list the same sensor for the 98 and 99 camaro which is wrong, I will have to give them a lecture next time I stop by
