Default What kind of mufflers to use? 68 Camaro - LS1 (pics)

I just started finally driving my camaro around and finishing up on small details. Right now it has Stainlessworks long-tube headers with powersticks (chambered exhaust). To be honest, I don't like how it sounds; it sounds way too loud and too glasspacky (?) What kind of mufflers are you guys using? I still want something aggressive, but just not a big fan of the glasspack sound. Any suggestions???

Here are some pics my ride.

i have hooker aero chambers on my 68,they sound good but at the same time i do run a solid roller 427 18deg brodix heads etc.... so its really hard to say what it will sound like on your motor, but i will run the same mufflers on my ls swap.

In my opinion, a spintech muffler sounds the best on an lsx motor w/ headers. Not annoyinyly loud but when you get in it, you can hear it and it has a very unique sound. You can hear them on http://www.spintechmufflers.com/spin...ntechindex.asp . I think they sound great and from what i understand they are all hand built so?

I ditched my old 40-series Flowmasters last year for a pair of Borlas. I like the Borlas a lot! I can carry on a conversation while cruising now, but they still get loud at higher RPM and WOT.
