Is that a 20, 25, or (gasp) single-turbo 26??

The toyota symbol would suggest a 2jz.

Looks to be a pretty quick ride when finished

Looks good so far... I want to ask why you didn't go w/ an RB... but having stopped my RB project to use a LS1 I have an idea what your answer might be.

it is actually already running, i just dont have any video as of yet. its a turd from a stop (open diff and blown shocks FTL!!) but from a roll its just stupid and only on 10psi. i took it to the track this saturday and it was humid as hell, people where driping just standing there. anyways with a 2.2 60ft it ran a 13.7@112.

it was actually a toss up between an ls1 vs. 2jz but in the end the 2jz had more of what i was looking for. reliable up to 800+hp, easy tuning, tons of support from local guys and forums, and this motor swap is still kinda rare and im sure i could list a ton more reasons. rb really wasnt even an option for me. 2jz is just a rock solid motor and open WG 2jz sounds just amazing

This is true... my bad. I glanced at it so quickly I didn't even notice the valve cover emblem, just an I-6 and a turbo and assumed...
