I'm using the fans off a 99 z28 into my impala and I would like to know which of the pins I believe there are 3 of them in the fan motors is for what. And can I just put a switch and fuse them? Or do I have to put a relay in there?

I would wire through the pcm using 3 relays. Do a search, someone posted a diagram..it's what I used

Post #8 has updated schematic....

I'm currently working to "retask" an Escalade fuse relay box to function as the above 3 relay fan controller and work w/ GMPP crate motor controller.

Instead of the pcm control can I use a switch? I am using a carb and using no engine harness.

Yea.. I have Manual Switches on mine. Hook one up to the Green Wire and the other up to the Blue, and ground the other side of the Switches. You will have the one on the Green for low speed, and with that one on turning the Blue one on will make it high speed.
