Vacuum port?

Vacuum can come from anywhere underneathe the carburetor. Not sure which intake you re using but if there isnt a port available, most holleys have a port in the baseplate that will provide unported vacuum (vacuum all the time). If not, I would use an 1/8" NPT tap, thread a brass nipple in it and call it a day.

Sorry about that, just saw carb intake. Well, see the second part of my response. 1/8-NPT should be more than enough. Most intakes should already have the port incorporated, no?

Well then GM needs to get their act together. As long as the port is on the engine side of the throttle body it can be anywhere. I other words, if the elbow or throttle body has one you will be fine.

Youi could always add a carb spacer and incorporate the vac port into that.
Like said above most of us just use the port on the carb itself. Probably why GM doesn't include one on their intakes.
