Default LS2 into BMW. Radiator plumbing question

BMW has an external pressurized expansion tank with filler cap. There is one vent tube from top of radiator to tank and one 5/8”” outlet at bottom of tank that goes to the inlet side of the water pump.
Would I be correct in retaining the top radiator vent to tank and “T” the line to the head vents on the LS2? I am thinking this will allow both the heads and radiator to vent air/steam to the tank.
Tank is the highest point of the system.
Would I be correct running the bottom 5/8” line to the “small” nipple on the heater loop of the LS2 water pump and cap the large?
I’ve asked this same question in other sections but have had no response. I am really in need of help.

Yes that will work.

sounds like you are not running a heater core. am I right. Generally the line at the bottom of the tank is tied to the low pressure side of the cooling system. That would be the bigger nipple on water pump.
here is a thread that might help

Thank you very much. You saved me from an error.
Correct. This is a track only toy and there is no heater core. I will connect tank's return to the larger of the two heater core ports.

Very much appreciate your help.
