Injector connector question

Injector connector question ok so i have a truck harness and car injectors. i rewired them and the car rus but i finally got to check my codes and one of them was "injector circuit open". i was lookin up and it seems that there is a positive and negative to the injector plugs. would that cause this code if theyre not hooked up correctly?
