P/N24208421,GM-B6. What is this tranny out of and will it work with an 04 lq4 ou of an h2. It is for my rwd 68 c10.

A search says that part number is a transfer case for a 99 model.
Look at the dr side, top of the bellhsg flange. There should be a VIN stamped there, that was put on when the engine and trans was married at the factory. You should be able to decode that #...

I am familiar with the differences in 4l60e's but not 4l80e's. Will any 4l80e bolt right up to my 04 lq4? Or do i need one from a 2001+? I have read about the 99-2000 6.0 motors only working with 2000 - transmissions.

thanks for any help. I dont want to buy a 99 or 2000 trans and have to spend another 200 on the crank spacer.
