Default Alternator Plug Identification

Hey guys,

Have a look at this pic. This is an alternator from a 2004 GTO motor. I do not have the OEM plug for it. I know has white wire (Battery +) and a brown wire (Ign +) but I am not sure which goes where.

Can someone tell me which wire goes to which pin?

Everyone has a 50/50 chance of getting this correct..so please be sure.

Thanks.

Pin A is white and goes to the battery positive voltage
Pin B is brown and goes to the charge indicator light
Your pin #1 should be A
The part number for the plug shell is 7223-6224-40

For anyone looking at this thread, Pin #2 is the white wire and goes directly to battery positive. Pin #1 is the brown wire and goes to the charge indicator light.
