Water pump question
I need to move the outlet of the waterpump ( the one on top of the pump on a truck style pump) to make my radiator hose fit just right. I have heard you can heat the pump and rotate the insert and let it cool and it will work as good as new. I would appreciate is someone could help me out on this as a new pump would not be cheap if I mess this one up. Thanks in advance.

i heated with a propane torch and got mine to move, its not very easy but if you get it hot enough it will move. I used a rubber mallet after heating it up to rotate it... Head it for a long time lol...
