Default F body power steering hose routing

Hello,

Sticking a Ls1 into a 65 impala. I see that the stock LS1 f-body hoses somehow go to the radiator hose. My engine was a LS1 from a firebird and the accessories from a corvette setup.

I am wondering if I should still do this (go to the radiator hose) and if anyone has a photo of the routing of the hoses.

Also, am I OK just using the stock 65 Impala steering box with the pump from a LS1?

I have a pump setup from a corvette.

Thanks in advance.

The return line used the lower rad hose as a PS cooler (heater). You can skip this and use standard trans line to return the PS fluid from the box/rack to the reservoir for simplicity or run any conventional style cooler you want in place of the silly radiator thingy
