Anyone do a Low RPM/Max Torque L92?
I have a need for a low RPM (3000 max) engine for a project I'm working on. I'm thinking a cam swap for sure, but a 4.0 stroke crank is not out of the question. I need as much power as I can get from 2400 to 3000 RPM.
I know this is not the direction most people go with these engines, but if it has been done, seems like this would be the place.
Thanks
Mike

Anyhoo, a stroker with 5.3 heads ought to be a good start.

Currently running a stock 6L cam in an LS7 short motor with L92 heads and LS3 intake and it peaks at around 3000-3200 rpm for torque: just to see what it would do; LS7 cam/heads goes back in soon. Somewhere around 470-500lbft/290-300HP at 11.5:1 CR. Its a torque monster from 1500 thru 5000rpm.

Any chance you have a dyno chart for your combo?
