Default Pedal Lag

I'm having a little lag in my pedal the jeep tries to keep going for a few seconds. I think I've read where some might be normal and there also seems I've read of some kind of fix for this. Anyone?

This is a problem that has bugged me for years. Never understood why there is a delay between your foot and the servo.
