1969 GTO Judge Clone LQ4 turbo 4L60e

Ya little but has happened
Turned up the boost a little so it's at 14 psi now making 600/668 to the wheels
Last time at the track on do MT drag Radial Pros it did a
1.52 60ft. 6.92@98 in the 1/8 (obviously)
We weighed the car on the way home from the track and it was 4180lbs with me in it
I'm going to do Hot Rod Drag Week 2014 in Sept soooo that means I have to add some safety stuff so in April / May (depends on when JamesB chassis finishes up 9 other cars) I'm having a custom 6 pt roll bar put in with removable door bars so I can make it look as close to stock as possible when not at the track
A driveshaft loop ( I know, finally)
Trans shield or blanket (undecided in this but I know if I go with a blanket I'll have to remove it while normal driving because of it trapping heat)
The car will be faster than 10.99 but will probably never go faster than 10.00 where I'd need a full cage
I added an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator at the fuel rails ( still stock but might be changing that soon) I'm also going to be upgrading to 80 lbs injectors and meth
I think that's all.
Thanks for asking I thought about this thread the other day and thought about updating it but figured everyone that was interested before prob wouldn't read it because you thought it was another transmission prob.

Not at all bro. I remember you sending me your spreadsheet when I need parts so I always kept this thread close especially since we have similar (on paper...lol) cars. I got a lot done this weekend with my car and I keep your thread open for motivation. Congrats on an awesome run and post some more pics and videos.

Are you using a 4l80e now? Those drag radials must be hard on the powertrain.
How does your car run with an SD tune and I assume you are using a 2bar map?

Couple changes adding meth (two 10lbs nozzles) and bigger injectors (80lbs) because it ran out of fuel at 600hp to the wheels
Put a new gas tank in because the other had a small leak and out in a new 1/2" id pickup and return
15x10 weld magnum 2.0 rears ( will have ET Street radials but they are on back order so just has some 275/60/15 street tires I had laying around
17" front runners. I went with the drag star 94 series because they were $220 to the door for bout the magnum 2.0 fronts are 600 each
Went with the MT SR 26/6/17 (radial) tires in front
Will probably lower the rear a little
And for the pits at Drag Week I got a new ice chest it's the 24v 500w version of a Cruzin Cooler. But of course it's been moded too. It's now a 36v 500w that has a different controller and a lot more tq and does 23mph instead of the stock 13mph

I completed Hot Rod Drag Week about a month ago I only had 2 issues. The minor one was the fuel pump overheating again and I had to pull over for a bit to let it cool down. This was after a long haul fitting wind for about 100 miles on the 2nd day. But didn't have that issue again
The day of tech in the car was acting a little funny. I did my first burn out and it shifted into second and did a nice burnout on the new MT DR's I launch and it felt very sluggish. But ran a decent time I thought 11.57@120
(Keep in mind we have it turned down because I had to keep it above 11.50 since I don't have a cage
Get back to pits and we look at the log and it never shifted. It was in 3rd the entire pass! No wonder if felt so sluggish the first 1/8
Make a couple passes and keep having issues
It was giving a code for a shift issue. I decided since I brought a spare Trans that we should turn off the code and see what it did Well. It broke. Went 1st. Then 2nd. Then 3rd......to the rev limited instantly
Burned up 3rd
Ok **** that sucks. Time to out in the used, untested Trans I brought so I put it up on jack stands and got started.
Y'all are shocked I broke another 4L60e I know
I get to putting the starter back in and broke the post off for the power wire. So since it was still not officially drag week till 9am the next morning I drove the truck to the hotel. I stopped at Orielly the next morning and got another starter put it on and then went for a test drive after the drivers meeting
On the test drive we get on the highway and I stomp it and it downshifts and then starts smoking like hell so I make a quick stop on the side of the highway. Come to find out I didn't get the bottom Trans cooler line pushed in all the way so it popped out Had another drag week participant bring me a jack and some jack stands and got it fixed Topped off the Trans and off we went again
Got to the track and make a couple more passes and turned in an 11.62 slip (I was shooting for 11.60 all week so that at the end of the week when they take a tenth off I would be at my fastest legal limit for the bracket race
All In all I had a great week. It's an awesome experience and I can't wait until next year
(Fastest pass of the week was a 10.88@124 with a 1.54 60ft. This is all on a fresh set up that we didn't even finish tuning until Sunday before the Trans broke
The boost is down 5psi from where it was at the last dyno. The timing is down 4* and we were running on 91 octane The 1/8 mile time was the same as when it was on the old turbo and injectors 6.92@99. That was at 600hp/668tq. To the wheels
Here's some pics of the week
