LS6 or LS2, cannot decide...
I'm really wanting the LS2 being more cubic inches and the LS6 really being nothing more than a LS1 with a cam/head/intake package. Problem is the LS2's are hard to come buy and the LS6 is more readily available. Is the LS2 really that much better or is it a toss up? I guess the LS2 is the clear winner in power potential being a 6.0L.
Thanks

Whichever you get the better deal on.
LS2 has all the good stuff from the ls6 (heads, cam, coils, PCV) plus some other stuff like better block, oiling, floating pistons and more cubes. But if you can get a good deal on an LS6 I wouldn't hesitiate. Good motor. LS6 is suppose to have a better intake than the LS2.

I have an LS-6 in my '05 CTS-V, and a mold modded TPI (355 HSR, alloy heads, bla, bla) in my 91 Z, and the difference is of course day and night, never drove an LS-2 car but the-6 just is so docile and forgiving, lug it in 6th, but just PUUUUUUUUULLLLLSSS forever, and now that my Z is apart for eng comp paint/detail, and the motor is out, welllll.
