Default Back fire befor startup?

Hi guys,

i completed a swap a ls1 few months ago, and everything ran fine, now i changed the wiring harness and the way it was set up and i get a few booms from the exhaust before start up.... so i put back the old wiring and still the same problem...

all coils work and spark plug and wire are new... i think my coils are firing in the wrong order... after a backfire from the exhaust the car starts up and runs fine....

thats why i think its the firing order of my coils or injectors.... problem is how do i check

i think i out wrong injectors on the wrong cylinders.... or wrong coil on wrong cylinder..

Might be able to hook up a scanner and run it through your injector firing sequence and what not. I'm sure one of the more knowledgeable guys will be able to help!

Check the cam sensor. I have heard of problems like this occuring when the cam sensor is bad. Im by no means an expert, but its better than nothing, right, lol. Good luck, Eric L
