I was trying to find this out too. Tried searching and couldnt find much. But it really looks like it cant be done, because it looks like just the bracket is too high, even without the alternator. I ended up going with an bracket that i could use with stock water pump, balancer, and alternator and only had to buy the fbody powersteering pump.

there's no cheap or easy way to do it. there was someone on TGO that did it, but there was a lot of welding, custom brackets, and modifications needed. Not to mention issues with clearance issues regarding the TB. I know why you want to go that way, but as a fellow 3rd gen swapper, bite the bullet and go with the 4th gen stuff.
