5.3L in 95 GMC 4x4, need advice and guidance The motor in my 95 GMC 4x4 is really starting to get tired and if I am going to need a new motor in the near future I would like to update the engine to the newer style and drop in a 5.3L.
If I were able to find a complete low milage pullout 5.3 with harness, computer, accessories, ect. What are some of the things I need to be looking out for to get this in the truck and running correctly?
Is there some sort of external fuel pump I can use?
I would like to get all the pit falls out of the way and sorted out before I dive into something like this.
