Default LY6/4l80e 64 Nova?

Well I found a ebay auction for a Van pull out LY6/4l80e,...Does anyone see any major issues with putting in my 64 Nova? The nova will have the TCI front clip.

And how do you deal with the variable timing?

Thanks
Ruben

Try to get the donor ECM/TCM and the unbutchered harness. Many sponsor here can retune the OEM ECM and tidy up the harness too. Plan on some tunnel messaging to fit the 4L80E. There are quite a few NOVA1 LS swaps on the forum. Try a SEARCH. Good luck with the swap. Be sure top take alot of pics and start a thread.

Yeah, Jimbo's right. The 4L80E is guaranteed to hit the trans tunnel, but a 4L60E slides right in, no sweat.

For any harness and ECM issues, try Techrods. They have been recommended to me several times on this site. I have yet to get to that stage with a harness though. Glad to see another Nova conversion, Good luck!

Thanks, I'm hoping to finish by the end of this summer, but only time will tell. I've just started including part numbers in my thread, so hopefully that will make it easier for others to do the same swap.
