5.3 swap

I am doing a 5.3 swap out of a 06 silverado into my 1982 Camaro, I was wondering if a ls3 intake would fit that? or do i just need to go with the ls6 intake as the original plan?

LS3 wont fit, it has large rectangular intake ports. Your o6 5.3 will have cathedral ports. You can put on an LS6 intake (cost at least $250) or LS1 intake ($35 used) and get about the same performance on a 5.3.
