Wondered if someone could share what they've done as far as rear trans mount for a LS in a 62 Nova 4L60E (using Chuck Church engine locator plates). Chuck was working on a rear cross member but has not it completed yet. I can see a way to do this but would like to hear from those who have already been there to pick up pointers or direstion.

I cut my stock crossmember, slid the cut section back, then welded in some 1/4" plate. Bolted the cut pice up to the tranny, and to the frame rails......welded it inside and out, solid as a rock......
