3rd gen fbody ls ac compressor
Will the factory ls2 ac compressor work with the 3rd gen system? If not what needs to be done? Not interested in running anything but factory accessory drive stuff so if need be I can make a mount for different compressor. Anyone done this swap yet?

3rd gens are one of the most commonly swapped because of the simplicity
To use the Lsx compressor, the factory K-member requires a notch. Aftermarket tubular K-members usually clear without issue. Using the stock 3rd gen compressor in the stock location with special adapter brackets also works
Really boils down to what you want to do
Also, check out TGO and read the LSx swap sticky
