This is almost the exact build I want once I put up my shop! Amazing work, much respect to you for all your fabbing and stitching
I really like the carbon flash paint with the GS stripes. Car looks just incredible. What is the public repsonse to it if you don't mind sharing? Would think you get a lot of Chevy guys who know what GrandSports are quizzing you up!
I'm hoping to put an LS motor in my build as well. Was thinking a 427 LS3 and I want to use the individual throttle body kit that is available for LS motors as well. Pricey kit, but looks like the original motors the GrandSports came with on top at least. Keep the pics and videos coming. Any other info regarding Mongoose is appreciated as well!
Congrats again, can't get over your car!

This car Is crazy. Everyday driving home I get video'd or photographed by people in traffic. Not many people know what car it is specifically, but they can tell that there is something very different and unique. Mongoose is a very cool bunch of guys. Always trying to make their product better.
I'm picking up my cd with the photoshoot pics today. As soon as I get them cropped and edited I will be making a for sale post. I want to build another! I'm hooked! I plan on getting a little crazy with the next build. Should be interesting! So if anyone is interesting in buying please pm me! Thanks

Update time! I decided not to sell the vette. I should punch myself in the face for even considering it. Instead of selling and building another I decided, "why not just upgrade what ya got!". So with that said......
-EPS custom grind cam is on the way
-Melling Stock replacement oil pump
-C5R timing chain
-TEA springs and Ti retainers
-FAST 92 intake manifold
-Sending the rear wheels and possibly the fronts back to CCW for wider inner barrels. 315s up front 335s in the rear. Have not been impressed with the Kumho XS. May got with the BFG Rivals or Toyo R888
Oil pump and timing chain are the only things that have come in so far.
Working on a few things that have bugged me. Mainly losing a wiper arm during a monsoon as a freight truck passed me. I wasn't crazy about the chrome wiper arms anyway. I bought new satin finish arms and then painted them satin black. I also drilled and tapped the under side of the wiper arm where it slips over the post. I added a set screw for extra security in case the grooves/teeth on the post or arm try to give out.
The car needed some type of front spoiler to give it a more finished look. So I mocked up some card board, cut the shape out of 1/8" plywood, fiberglassed it, filler, sanded, painted, brackets made, blah blah and here it is..
You can also see in the above pic and the one below that I upgraded the headlights to H4 units. I took out the stock H4 bulb that came with the light and put in Philips X-treme Power bulbs. One of the best mods ever. It is seriously like night and day. The lows are so good I almost never click the highs. Highly recommend the swap. Cheap to do too!
And one for the road...
