I have a 1966 fleetside chevy truck that I'm restoring, its my grandfathers farm truck and he's owned it since new. Now I'm looking at swapping the inline six for a 5.3L but thought about just swapping the whole body onto a newer truck frame so I have the better suspension, LSX drivetrain, brakes, etc... Does anyone know how hard this would be to do? Or if anything would even come close to lining up, such as body mounts, etc...
