hello im in the middle of swaping a 5.3 in to my 1988 step side chevy and have a question when i pick the motor up i relized that the junk yard cut some of the wiring to remove it out of the old truck basically the transmisstion wiing was cut so i went to the pull a part and cut the back have of the transmission wiring it came from a 2004 astro van with a 4l60e the only problem i saw that from the 5.3 2001 wiring harness has a diffrent trans range sensorfrom the 2004 wiring harness would there be a problem if i just wired up the 2004 trans range sensor in to the 2001 5.3 wiring harness
