Default Caprice tank retrofit.

Hey can anyone tell me if they have used a late model Caprice tank in a first gen Camaro. Months earlier I saw a pic of someone who did it. But I can't find it now. I figured their would be stock fuel gauge issues and I would really like to keep my stock guages.

Thanks
Aaron

Sorry.. I can't add anything as I have only swapped one into a A-body. I know the 2nd Gen F-body are a pretty large but flat tank.

Good Luck on finding what you need.

Thanks guys I pretty much know I can make it fit. The fuel gauge was my main concern.

The 94-97 tanks has 0-90 ohm sender. It is compatiable with most early GM car.. you 1st Gen F-Body should be 0-90 ohm so you should be good. I worked fine on my 71 Chevelle gauge.
