Yes I did search, on here and on google. I am looking for a 3 wire vss, that fits into the trans. I know the stock one is a 2 wire, but has anyone stumbled across one that is a 3 wire and fits?

I am building a an electro to mechanical speedo controller. See https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...-solution.html
Anyways, I have had some questions about running a carbed set up, with a computer controlled trans. Some of the aftermarket transmission controllers do not supply the 4000ppm signal for a speedo. My thoughts were if a 3 wire sensor would fit in the 4l60/80e, t56, etc I could supply a 5 volt signal to power the sensor and get a signal that we could use to drive the speedo.

Seems the 3 wire dont work with the ecu. Dont know if this helps, but I'm working with these guys below to add a 2 wire VSS using the reverse gear as a reluctor in a manual trans. I know Brandon at LT1swap.com has done something similar with auto trans.
