Default 2004 GTO LS1 Alternator Need confirmation on Wiring

After searching through many threads on here and other forums I have come up with what I think my answer is, but need someone here to just confirm it.

I have a LS1 from a 2004 Pontiac GTO with the two wire alternator going into my Toyota Chaser, and I have a modified engine harness and a Painles body harness. I just want to confirm the two wires off the alternator.

It has pin A - White
pin B - Brown

From what I have read and I need confirmed is that pin A the White wire could be hooked to straight 12 volt? Correct? And can I just look a 10 gauge wire from that plug to the alternator 12 volt output?

And Pin B Brown needs to go through a 470 ohm resistor and then to an ignition power source, correct?

Now Any suggestion on gauge of wire? And Can I just use a ign power off my main ignition body harness??

Thanks in advance for any confirmation.

I have answered this few times. Yes. And the guage wire i use is small like a 14-16. Those trigger wire are just that. Trigger wires. Just go as big as possible on the main lug to BAT+
