Thanks for the interest on the build the shocks are going on the chevelle the shocks have clickers on them for the dampening adj. makes a huge difference on a dirt bike or a snowmobile so I say why not a car? one way to find out.

Are there not already adjustable coil overs on the market, it looks like the tires would hit those when turning.

Yes there is alot of options for coil overs.but I am bagging the car so this is not a option. Everything clears lock to lock and there is almost an 1/8to spare. I will post more picts. Soon.so stay tuned.

Those shocks look an awful lot like the Walker Evans shocks on the front of my Dragon.

Oh, right on. When running the air lines for my bags the issue of wheel clearance came up. The shocks are in my bags so I never really thought about what I would do if they were not. Interesting solution.

This is how thing can really take a turn for the better or worse depending on how you look at it. After taking more measurements I found that the pinion was 4.250 off set from center and after pricing out a filler bung, drain, axles, seals and bearings, plus narrowing the housing to center pinion. I changed my mind and ordered a new housing and axles that will bolt right in. So all the time grinding, and cleaning for nothing!!
