just trying to get caught up on the thread again.working on building a new frame section for the rear of the chevelle to be capable of pulling a camper trailer with it as well. and I thought as long as we are at it.we would just make it smooth and clean as can be and reshape everything!

The frame exhaust exits look amazing I cant wait to see this with the body set back on the frame. That is going to be a clean look, wish I would have thought of something like this before i had finished my frame. This is going to be an amazing car afterwards.

making progress one weld at a time! this is going to take a while! I have an idea lets take a perfect frame and change every bit of it and redesign the entire suspension and attempt to learn 3d cad. at the same time might have been a bit to much to learn at one time.but I never claimed to be smart.lol.

Rear section looks great, was going to say that rear boxing is a pain. I was trying to install my efi swap tank this weekend and ran into an issue with my boxing. The front edges on the tank sit about 1/4 inch inside the frame. So I ended up cutting up some of the boxing. But looks like you mad the rear section a little wider than the original so it should work. Looks great

Thanks for the interest in my build and I hope yours is coming along well! frame boxing is way easier than building your own.

I grew up with that car. It was my Grandpa's new. Then my dad bought it off him in '74. He had it for a lot of years. That's the car I learned to drive in. It was all stock and wasn't the prettiest thing. But it started my love of 70 Chevelles....Name: a218b79b.jpg

I think it's fair to say that at this point, you have surpassed what anyone could imagine in 1970.
