Default goodbye v6! hello ls

Getting ready for ls conversion on 83 elky,picked up a 07 4.8 with 40k on it from a van.do i need to get sbc frame mounts to use the trans adapt brackets on the engine,have v6 brackets now.will the stock exhuast manifolds work or will i need headers,or f body manifolds.going old school carb route..thanks for any help..this is my first american toy have restored/ modified 3 datsun z cars in the past.

Welcome aboard, look at the numerous G body threads and check the stickies for mounts and headers.
Just a question, but why spend the extra dollars to go carb when you can have all the benefits of the injection? It really is not that hard to make it all work.
