Default dbw help

I am gathering parts to swap an ls1 into my 85 swb chevy truck. I plan to run a drive by wire setup, but am trying to figure out how to make the kick down work on my th350. Does anyone know if there is some sort of box that may run off a tps to pull on the cable as throttle increases? Any insight is appreciated!

Only way I am aware of is to physically connect it to the pedal inside the truck by welding a bracket and arm to the electronic pedal. Total pita IMO.

I second aknovaman. Most people if they are going to use a 700R4 or TH350 with DBW, they fabricate a mount for the pedal.
