Default 2002 DBW Truck Throttle body -vs- 2002 Vette Differences?

Both are the style that has the TAC motor on one side and the TPS on the other. They look like the only difference is they are symmetrical oposites of each other.

Are these interchangeable from the electrics standpoint or am I getting into a pedal/TAC module issue such as a vette TB not being compatible with a truck pedal and TAC Module?

Thanks, Ken

Flip the brown and yellow wire if you are interchanging these throttle bodies with like harness and tac module/pedal combo.

Ahhhhh yes...

I think this makes sense because the motor has to twist in the opposite direction??

No similar issue with the tps?

No issue with the TPS.

Not to go off on a rant, but if the GM Truck Engineers would have walked over to the building where the GM Car Engineers were sitting and discussed how they were going to make things work, conversions would be a lot easier. Dont let me get started on the Van Engineers who must have been sitting in STORAGE B.

I spent 20+ years working as a supplier to GM and Ford and you are right. They do not talk to each other as much as they should. To make things more complicated the buildings you mentioned were sometimes miles apart so factor in a little human laziness and it's silo mentality at its best. For example the SSR was engineered in a building that was 15 miles away from the "Tech Center".

FWIW, I'm finding that the Corvette harness is different than the truck harness not only in some of the wire colors but also the positions at the PCM. Not sure why they would do things like that...

Yes there will be other differences as well. But regarding throttle body the brown and yellow can be swapped.
