L92 and 6L80e Has anyone used this combination of powertrain? My concern is with making it work electrically. Will the TCM talk to the PCM without a gateway module BCM? Does anyone have suggestions on making this work?

Do I need a BCM or a gateway? From what I am seeing in the GM wiring diagrams there is not hardwires btween the PCM and the TCM.They communicate to each other through the GMLan or bus to the BCM/gateway. Then the information is sent back to each other.

Correct they communicate through the information bus. You do not need a BCM.
