i dont know why they dont put col. rings on these, but i always weld them on cause its easier to take apart, just plain easier to build the exhaust
i found some heavy duty col. rings from Jegs, their close to 3/8" thick
i tapped them on about half way, squared them up and was able to make my welds on the inside vs welding on the outside on the thin ones
just throwing that out there if anybody was interested
