Default bought the PSI f body cluster pigtail but....

theres no wire for the fuel gauge! i need to put the wire in but i dont know the pin location. its a 99+ cluster and sender. any help is appreciated.

the cluster doesnt have an input directly from the fuel level sensor in the tank, the signal goes to the PCM and the pcm communicates with the IPC on the class2 data line to tell it what the fuel level gauge should read.

Signal should go to one of the under dash connectors I belive on the 99 an newer but I could be wrong since im using a 98 harness

Looks like its pin 54 on the red cluster. Is that correct?

Iirc theres a link in the sticky for pcm connector pin outs,i used a stock 98 fbody harness on mine which had the under dash wiring.i know the merv has posted a link not too long ago to all the pinouts

according to the pinout on lt1swap.com this is correct

Bout to have to tackle that thing myself. Little intimidating. I also have the additional added difficulty on the fuel tank sending unit of trying to figure out how to wire it up to a 0-50 ohm "gm" sending unit. Not sure quite how that will work yet.

What's a 0-50 ohm out of? I thought they were 0-30 for real old stuff and 0-90 after that until the later f-bodies. I did find an article for using a 0-30 ohm setup.
