Default Proper routing for 12V wire to 4L60E?

I did a lot of searching today and couldn't find where the always hot 12V pink wire from the 4L60E round plug is supposed to get its power. This is a 99 silverado 4.8/4L60E that I put in my 75 mercedes. I finally jumped the wire to 12V+ down near the plug. The trans is shifting now but I would like to do it better. I am running the truck's fuse box with just the one C2 connector in the back. From what I understand the wire in question is supposed to go to the interior fuse panel fuse ign0. I'm not using that panel. Short of tracing the wire from the plug back to the fuse panel can anyone help me figure this out?
